Conditions We Treat

Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau and dermal fillers are all commonly used cosmetic treatments that can help to correct fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are all forms of injectable neurotoxins that are used to temporarily paralyze the muscles that cause wrinkles. These treatments are most commonly used to address wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau work by preventing the muscles from contracting, which in turn smooths out the skin. The treatment effects typically last for 3 to 4 months.

Dermal fillers, on the other hand, are used to add volume to the skin, which can help to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. These fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance that is found in the skin. They are injected into the skin to add volume to the areas where wrinkles and fine lines are present. Dermal fillers can be used to plump up the cheeks, fill in wrinkles around the mouth and nose, and add volume to the lips. The effects of dermal fillers can last from 6 to 12 months, depending on the type of filler used.

Both treatments can be used together for optimal results

Thin Lips or uneven lips

Dermal fillers are a popular cosmetic treatment that can be used to enhance the appearance of thin and/or uneven lips. The fillers are injected into the lips to add volume and shape, creating a fuller and more symmetrical appearance. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane, RHA, and Versa are the most commonly used for lip enhancement. These fillers are made of a naturally-occurring substance that is found in the body, and are safe and effective for adding volume to the lips. The procedure is usually performed in-office and takes about 30 minutes to complete.

Lip fillers are a safe and effective way to add volume and shape to thin and/or uneven lips. The procedure is relatively quick and easy, and the results are immediate and long-lasting.

Dissolving Filler

Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that is used to dissolve lip filler. It is injected into the area where the filler was previously applied, and it breaks down the hyaluronic acid molecules in the filler, causing it to dissolve. This treatment is often used to correct over-filling or to dissolve unwanted lumps or bumps.

Uneven facial Features Facial Corrections (ie. Nose, Chin Augmentation, etc.)

Dermal fillers can be used to correct asymmetrical or uneven facial contours. The fillers are injected into specific areas of the face, such as the cheeks, jawline, and temples, to add volume and create a more balanced and symmetrical appearance. The procedure can help to balance out asymmetrical or uneven features, such as a crooked nose, uneven cheekbones, or a weak chin.

Sun Spots/Sun Damage

Sun spots, also known as age spots or solar lentigines, are dark spots on the skin caused by sun damage. They can appear on areas of the skin that have been exposed to the sun, such as the face, hands, and arms. These spots can range in size and color, and can be treated using a variety of methods. Neogen, HydraFacial, laser, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare are all options to treat sun spots and sun damage.

Neogen is a treatment that uses a combination of microdermabrasion, chemical peel and LED light therapy to gently remove the top layer of the skin and improve the appearance of sun damage and pigmentation.

HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection to improve the appearance of sun damage and pigmentation.

Laser treatments target and destroy the cells that are responsible for producing pigmentation. This treatment can improve the appearance of sunspots and other forms of pigmentation.

Chemical peels use a solution to remove the top layer of the skin, and can improve the appearance of sun damage and pigmentation. The depth of the peel can vary depending on the type of peel used and the severity of the sun damage.

Medical-grade skincare can also be used to improve the appearance of sun damage and pigmentation. Products that contain ingredients such as Vitamin C, hydroquinone, and retinoids can help to lighten and brighten the skin, and improve the appearance of sunspots.

Sun protection is an important part of preventing sun damage and age spots.

Each method has its own benefits and drawbacks, and the best option will depend on the individual’s specific needs and concerns.

Loose Skin

Loose skin, which can affect the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin, can be treated using a variety of methods such as Neogen, Sculptra, and Emsculpt Neo.

Neogen is a treatment that uses a combination of microdermabrasion, chemical peel and LED light therapy to gently remove the top layer of the skin and improve the tone, texture, and clarity of the skin. This treatment can help to stimulate collagen production, leading to tighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin.

Sculptra is an injectable treatment that uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of loose skin. Sculptra is injected into the deep dermis and can help to build collagen in the skin over time, resulting in a tightening and firming effect.

Emsculpt Neo is a non-invasive body contouring device that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to tone, sculpt and firm the skin. This treatment can help to stimulate muscle contraction and increase collagen production, resulting in a more defined and toned appearance.

The best option will depend on the individual’s specific needs and concerns. A personalized treatment plan should be created to address the individual’s concerns.

Loss of Facial Volume (for tone, texture, clarity)

Facial volume loss can occur due to aging, weight loss, or other factors. One way to treat this is by using dermal fillers, which are injected under the skin to add volume and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. We offer a variety of dermal fillers including Juvederm and Restylane. These fillers can provide immediate results and typically last for six to twelve months.

Another option for treating facial volume loss is the use of PDO (polydioxanone) threads. These threads are inserted under the skin using a needle and then pulled tight to lift and tighten sagging skin. The threads stimulate collagen production, resulting in a longer-lasting effect than dermal fillers. PDO threads also can be used to lift and contour specific areas of the face such as the cheeks, jawline, and neck.

Both dermal fillers and PDO threads can be used alone or in combination to achieve optimal results.

Sagging Skin

Sagging skin is a common concern as we age, and it can also be caused by weight loss or other factors. One way to treat sagging skin is by using PDO (polydioxanone) threads.

PDO threads are thin, absorbable sutures that are inserted under the skin using a needle. Once in place, the threads are pulled tight to lift and tighten sagging skin, creating a more youthful and refreshed appearance. The threads also stimulate collagen production, which helps to improve skin elasticity and firmness over time. The procedure is typically done under local anesthesia and takes about 30-60 minutes. The results can be seen immediately after the procedure, and continue to improve over the following weeks and months as collagen is produced.

PDO threads can be used to lift and contour specific areas of the face such as the cheeks, jawline, and neck, as well as other areas of the body such as the arms, thighs, and abdomen.

It’s important to note that PDO threads are not a permanent solution and the effects typically last for 6-12 months.

Unwanted hair

Unwanted hair can be treated with laser hair removal, a non-invasive procedure that uses laser energy to target and destroy hair follicles. The procedure works by delivering intense pulses of light energy to the hair follicles, which absorbs the energy and heats up the hair, ultimately destroying the cells responsible for hair growth.

Our laser is safe for all skin types and can effectively target even the finest and most stubborn hairs.

The procedure is generally performed in a series of sessions, spaced several weeks apart, to target hair in the active growth phase.

Laser hair removal can be performed on almost any area of the body, including the face, legs, underarms, bikini area, and back. It is considered a safe and effective method for permanently reducing hair growth, although some people may require maintenance treatments over time.

Before starting the treatment you will consult one of our qualified and experienced laser hair removal professionals to determine if you are a good candidate for the procedure and to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Acne/ Acne scarring

We offer a variety of treatments and treatment plans for acne and acne scarring including: combination of facials, medical grade facials, chemical peels, Hydra Facial, Neogen, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy, and Obagi skin care products.

Facials and medical grade facials are a great way to cleanse and exfoliate the skin, unclogging pores and removing impurities that can lead to acne. Medical grade facials use stronger products and technology to provide more intense exfoliation and extraction.

Chemical peels are a type of exfoliation treatment that uses a solution to remove the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing smoother, clearer skin. They can also help to reduce the appearance of acne scars by stimulating collagen production

Hydra Facial is a multi-step treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection. It is gentle and non-invasive, and it can be customized to target specific skin concerns, including acne and acne scarring.

Neogen is a type of facial that uses a combination of microdermabrasion, chemical peel, and LED light therapy to improve the appearance of skin.

PRP therapy involves injecting the patient’s own plasma into the skin to promote collagen production and rejuvenation. It can be used to reduce the appearance of acne scars and improve overall skin tone and texture.

Obagi skin care products are a line of medical-grade skincare products that are designed to target specific skin concerns, including acne and acne scarring. They can be used in conjunction with other treatments for best results.

Each person’s skin is unique and the treatment plan must be tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
